The first book I ever read myself cover to cover was GIRLS CAN BE ANYTHING by Norma Klein. Except, when I read it in the mid/late 1980's, girls couldn't actually be ANYthing. That's why it was so excited to take my daughters to vote with me today. I want them to grow up believing that girls CAN be ANYTHING.
