This was serendipitous:
We tried to eat at a restaurant for dinner recommended by our hotel but we found that there was a two hour wait to sit. We struck out at other dinner places, either with similarly astronomical wait times or no availability at all, and places were not even taking takeout orders.

We found North Star Pizza in Wilmington, VT, which (BONUS!) hosts candle pin bowling!

Starting off strong!

Bus driver connection

Belle bonded with her bus driver Ahmad when he shared that he is from Jerusalem after he learned that Belle is Jewish. He engages with Belle, asking her about the books she reads on the bus.
One day, he was discussing Middle Eastern foods with Belle and was surprised that she'd never tried halavah. So he bought her some!
