Belle the amazing big sister

I left the room with Emily.  Sadie was in her high chair noshing on Cheerios, and Belle was nearby.  Also nearby was a bowl of cantaloupe, cut for adults to enjoy. 

Emily and I returned to the room to this magnificent scene:

Sadie smiling in her high chair.  Belle had helped herself to a knife and plate so she could cut the cantaloupe into Sadie-sizes pieces.  he Belle helped Sadie enjoy the sweet fruit.

Belle is seven.  I am blown away by Belle's initiative and capabilities and thoughtfulness and maturity.  She is truly a huge help to me.
