This morning, we named our daughter, Sadie Maxine (Sara Miriam) after my Grandma Selma and Seren's Grandma Maxine. As the Rabbi said the morning, in this week's Torah reading, it speaks about the joy Aaron saw when his brother Moses returns to Egypt. We hope our three daughters always get the same joy from being together.
In addition, as we were naming our daughter and gushing over our three girls, many of our friends and family were marching all over the country in support of equality and civil rights. To quote two of our cousins who were marching in NYC: "Here's to strong women; may we know them, be them, raise them." May our three girls be strong women who fight for what is right.
