There is a café at Emily's camp. Campers are allowed to bring money and go to the café during snack time to buy their own snack. Emily has been asking me all summer if she could do that. I consistently say no, and instead send her with a snack. Yesterday she came up with a great idea! She asked me if she could bring her own dollar ( that one that she got when Belle received $2 from the generous Tooth Fairy and Belle have one of the dollars to Emily). I thought that was a great idea! No, mommy is not going to give you money to spend at the café. But you want to spend your own money? Sure! Go ahead.
When I picked Emily up, she was smiling ear to ear with the ring pop in her mouth. Success!
