Sadie had her 3-month check-up today and she is growing nicely! She is 12 pounds 8 ounces in weight (38th percentile), 23.25 inches long (33rd percentile), and her head circumference is 16 inches (79 percentile). She on target for all milestones, and is ahead of the curve socially (tracking/following with her eyes, smiling, laughing, cooing).
Two nurses conducted her in-take. One was training. The trainer warned the trainee at each step, "the baby is often squirmy and uncooperative;" "often the baby cries and fusses;" "sometimes we need the help of the parent of even another nurse." Sadie was a cooperative angel, even smiling at the nurses. The training nurse said, "don't expect all babies to behave like this."
