Milestones

Last week, Sadie found her thumb, which I have been fervently replacing with the pacifier. You see, it is easier to take away a pacifier than a thumb. Just asked me, photographed in kindergarten sucking her fingers. Also, Sadie had her first manicure (I cut her nails for the first time).
And today she is certainly thinking of one of her namesakes, as it is Gaga'a birthday.

Sadie at 2 months

Baby Sadie is doing so well! She has her 2-month check-up this morning.
She measured 22 inches long (29 percentile), 10 lbs. 11 oz. (34 percentile), and her head circumference was 15.5 inches (83 percentile). The doctor is pleased that she's in proportion: about the 30th percentile in both height and weight, and her big head is chock-full of brains!
She did not love getting her shots today, but it's all in an effort to keep her healthy and growing well.
Time is flying!

Watch it...

Keeping warm

Woke up to no heat. It's currently 53 degrees in our house. We are bundled and snuggling to keep warm.
(Someone is coming to look at the system soon)

WonderWoman

Compete with cape!

Emily likes to move it!

Emily was singing, "I like to move it move it. I like to move it move it." I asked where she learned that song. She said they dance to it in her Zumba class on Wednesdays at school!

Belle's beautiful mind

I asked Belle the other day if she filled anybody's bucket that day. (That means did she do anything nice for somebody else that would make that person feel good inside.)
She said, "yes! I filled Zoe's bucket when I gave her a piece of candy."
I asked where she got the candy. Belle said something along the lines of, "I looked in the Purim goody bag we got from school. There was one piece of candy in it and I knew Emily and I would both want to eat it, so I thought it was better just give it away."
Belle's mind works in a very interesting way.
