Sadie lost a tooth last night.
She ran downstairs this morning and declared to Seren, "I know you are the tooth fairy!"
It turns out that she conducted an experiment: she hid her tooth. She figured a REAL tooth fairy would be able to find a tooth, even if it was not tucked beneath the child's pillow. She received $2, but the tooth remained hidden in its hiding spot, which led Sadie to the conclusion that the tooth fairy does not exist and the $ was from me.
