This week, Emily referred to the basket in which one tosses dirty laundry as a "hamster." When I said, "Do you mean 'hamper?'" Emily replied, "whatever."
She later said that our neighbor's dog Callie is a cute little Pluto. "Poodle, you mean?" I asked Emily. Again, Emily's response: "whatever."
Incidentally, Sadie said she wanted to play with her "titters" this morning. She meant "sisters."
