Unrelatedly, Emily took an hour to get to sleep tonight in our effort to teach her to fall asleep NOT in someone's arms and NOT in a moving vehicle/stroller. This might have felt like a worthwhile tough excruciating hour had she not woken up crying 35 minutes after falling asleep. I am not a good sleep trainer because I can't listen to my babies cry; I prefer snuggling and sleep deprivation to listening to crying.
