Emily learned to make an elephant-like (or "ppprrrr") spitting sound yesterday. It's messy, but fun to listen to her experiment with her voice and the sounds she can make with her cute little 6-month-old mouth.
Similarly impressive: Belle wore her "big girl" underpants to school today (instead of a diaper- "now I can give my diapers to Emily," a beautiful idea Belle came up with on her own). Belle has been diaper-free, except for sleep times, since Friday afternoon, including a trip to and from NYC yesterday. We are so proud of her!
