The girls had a great Halloween! We went trick-or-treating on our street with friends. Emily got into it immediately and excitedly walked up to candy bowls with a smile. In fact, when it was time to go inside for dinner, Emily said, "no," took my hand, and led me to more houses. Belle, on the other hand, was happy to finish her own track-or-treating, go home, and distribute candy. Belle eagerly stood by the door awaiting trick-or-treaters, and she took her responsibilities seriously. During the few moments when there was a dry-spell in the throngs of candy-seekers, Belle went outside and yelled, "We have candy! Who wants candy? Come here for candy!"
The doorbell rang until 9pm, so the girls didn't sleep so well. We paid for that poor sleep today, but it was worth it.
